Dr. Moustafa
Dr. Moustafa grew up in the suburbs of Cairo, Egypt. After earning a Bachelor of Dental Medicine (BDS) degree from Misr International University (MIU) in Cairo, he practiced dentistry in his home country for four years.
In 2019 he decided to start a new chapter in his life in Canada where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Western Ontario (UWO) and is now excited to resume his dental career in Whitehorse, one of the most exquisite places in North America.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Moustafa enjoys cooking, reading literature, scuba diving, and working out.
Dr. Joel
Joel is a follower of Jesus Christ | Grateful child of God.
He graduated from the University of Western Ontario in 2004. After working as an associate for 3 years, he pursued his dreams and opened his own dental clinic, Elias Dental in Horwood's Mall in 2007.
On June 18, 2018, they moved to their new building at 200-4078 4th Avenue, with Elias Dental occupying the entire second floor. It has been over 19 amazing years providing dental services to the people of Whitehorse, Yukon!
Joel has been blessed with an amazing marriage to his wife Liza and they have 5 children - Karael, Jaeden, Joelle, Ozias and Amorielle.
Sara Collyer
Registered Dental Hygienist
Sara is a licenced/registered dental hygienist who graduated from the Dental Hygiene program at Niagara College in 2004 and was a dental assistant prior to that. With over 29 years working in the dental field, Sara prides herself on delivering quality and comfortable dental hygiene treatment while caring for your oral health.
Sara grew up in Southwestern Ontario and has lived in all 3 Territories now, leaving the best for last! The proud mom of 4 fur kids, she loves hiking with her dogs and playing with her cats, paddleboarding, and exploring this beautiful territory that she’s called home since January 2024.
She’s looking forward to working with the staff and clients at Elias Dental!
Emmanuel Jones
Registered Dental Hygienist
Emmanuel is a dedicated Registered Dental Hygienist originally from Regina, Saskatchewan. Graduated from Canadian National Institute of Health (CNIH) in Ottawa, Ontario. With a strong passion for oral health and patient care, Emmanuel brings a gentle and thorough approach to every appointment.
Drawn by the beauty and close-knit community of the North, Emmanuel has chosen to settle in the Yukon with his small family. Outside of the clinic, Emmanuel loves playing basketball and spending quality time with his family, especially during their regular game nights. Exploring the outdoors, staying active, and getting to know the people who make this region so special.
Emmanuel is excited to be part of your dental care journey and looks forward to helping you achieve a healthy, confident smile.
Tammie Waite
Registered Dental Hygienist
Tammie brings over 30 years of experience in dental hygiene. She has seen and cleaned just about everything, yet still manages to enjoy her job and laugh with patients.
She has spent the last 5½ years serving the Northern communities of Iqaluit and Yellowknife. This time up North allowed her to enjoy her love of travel while developing a deep respect for the unique lifestyle and resilience of the North.

Tammie is looking forward to getting to know the Whitehorse community and continuing to provide the best possible care while making her patients feel at ease - whether they are regulars or haven't seen a hygienist since the Ice age.
In her time off, you can find her hiking, biking or taking advantage of any other outdoor activities the North has to offer (including searching for great coffee shops).
